How to care for your Amara Flame.
A hand-poured candle is designed to perform beautifully when cared for with intention. Follow these steps to get the most from every burn.
Trim the wick
Before every burn, trim your wick to 5mm. This ensures a clean, steady flame, prevents excess soot, and extends the life of your candle.
Allow a full melt pool
During the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface before extinguishing. This prevents tunnelling and ensures you get the full life of your candle.
Never leave unattended
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish completely before leaving the room or going to sleep.
Keep a safe distance
Keep away from children, pets, curtains, drapes, and all flammable materials. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Limit burn time
Burn for a maximum of 3–4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.
Store carefully
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This preserves the fragrance and maintains the integrity of the wax.
